Data controller
What data we collect
When you send an expression of interest or an assessment from the site checker, we process the data you provide yourself:
- Name and email address
- Phone number (if you provide it)
- Location or municipality, plan status and preferred delivery
- Your role (private individual, landowner, marina owner and so on) and which models you are interested in
- Free text you write about the site, and the answers from the site checker
In addition, your IP address, your country (derived from the IP by our provider Cloudflare) and the time of submission are recorded automatically. This is used to protect the form against abuse and spam.
Why we process it, and on what legal basis
- To contact you and respond to your submission — the legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you give by ticking the box in the form.
- To protect the service against spam and abuse — the legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in keeping the form functional and secure.
How long we keep it
The data is kept for as long as it is needed for our dialogue with you about SKÄR 30, and at most until you ask for it to be deleted. You may withdraw your consent at any time, after which we delete your data without undue delay.
Who may receive the data
We never sell your data and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. To operate the service we use data processors that process the data on our behalf and on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts the site and the database where submissions are stored.
- Resend — sends, where applicable, a notification email to us when a new submission comes in.
Processing takes place within the EU/EEA where possible. Where a provider involves a transfer to a third country, it is done with safeguards under the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies for tracking or marketing and uses no cookie-based analytics. That is why no cookie banner is shown.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- request a copy of the data we hold about you,
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- have your data erased,
- request restriction of, or object to, the processing,
- receive your data in a machine-readable format (data portability), and
- withdraw a consent you have given.
Contact us at [email protected] to exercise any of these rights. If you believe we process your data incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
We may update this policy when the service or the legal framework changes. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the latest change at the top.
